We had the opportunity to film a stove fire at close range together with the Southwest Finland Rescue Department in an apartment building due for demolition. The fire grows to frightening proportions very quickly, so it takes courage to try to put out a stove fire with a pot lid or a fire blanket. Preventing a stove fire before it starts is often the most sensible solution.
